Your stool naturally contains bacteria, and this can cause anal abscesses which is a skin infection.

2. High risk of getting infections gotten through intimacy

You can get infections gotten through intimacy faster through anal intimacy because, your skin might tear due to lack of lubrication, and it will become an avenue to contract infections. Some of the infections includes chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV and herpes. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, anal intimacy carrys a high risk when it comes to spreading HIV.

3. Serious hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoids are areas of blood vessels, which can be found inside and outside of the rectum. They can cause itching, little bleeding, and sometimes pain. Anal intimacy has the ability to cause more damage, if you already have hemorrhoids. It is important to know that anal intimacy cannot cause hemorrhoids.

4. High risk of fistula

Fistula can occur when a tear in the lining of the anus becomes very big, that it goes beyond the bowel and to other parts of the body. This medical condition is critical because, it allows stool to move into other parts of the body from the bowel. Your stool contains bacteria, which means that when it goes into other parts of the body, it can lead to infection and serious damage.
