It’s time to forgive, move on — Adeleke tells Osun PDP members

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has urged party members in the state to forgive those who worked against the party and concentrate on delivering good governance.

This is as he said he will work as much as he dances, saying his dancing is his way of praising God for the grace of his life.

Speaking after a closed-door meeting of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, stakeholders to choose a replacement for the party’s late Zonal Vice Chairman, Soji Adagunodo, the Governor said the party must accept those who have returned to the fold and develop the party for future victory.

Even as governor, he believes in party dominance and will enforce party discipline in all actions, including the selection of caretaker committee members to the state’s local government administration.

“To complement the party’s victory, we must forgive one another.” Those who did not previously support us have returned, and I urge us all to accept and forgive them. This is where the party’s chances improve; we must forgive ourselves and press on.

“Some people say I love dancing; I’m not going to stop; I’d work as much as I dance; it’s my way of glorifying God.” I have proven my ability to work and achieve effective governance. Despite previous administration’s efforts to portray us poorly, Osun State is now a reference point.

“I urge you all, especially those who have not benefited from the current government, to remain calm as I assure you of more dividends,” he stated. “It is turn by turn, and those already appointed should not forget to spread good governance to the masses.”

Meanwhile, the party’s Chairman, Sunday Bisi, stated that the party’s stakeholders in the state had unanimously agreed on the candidature of Barrister Kamoru Ajisafe to replace the late Soji Adagunodo as Vice Chairman, Southwest Zone.
