Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo, a former Niger Delta militant, claimed during a live Facebook session earlier today that Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, had rigged the February 25 election because he received more than 90% of the vote in the Igbo region.
According to Asari Dokubo, “Peter Obi received over 90% of the vote in Igbo territory, and there were APC governors, PDP governors, senators, and members of the House of Representatives who carried firearms, alarmed people, and scrawled numbers. I’ve maintained without wavering that Peter Obi was the one who manipulated the elections.
Speaking further, he said, In his home states of Lagos and Osun, Ahmed Bola Tinubu came in last. If Tinubu is rigging the election, he won’t be rigging in his own state but rather in Kano, Zamfara, and Rivers State. But in Lagos, his home state, and Osun, he was unable to rig. You believe that they can coerce and blackmail individuals, and that people like us will acquiesce in their actions. If you go, you go to the show whatever. Our campaign was successful, and we were elected.
Additionally he said, They tried to prove to the court that we rigged the election, but they were unable to present any proof. Their case contained absolutely no substances.
“Everything was done to make Ahmed Bola Ahmed Tinubu fail. We were all given death sentences. They took the cash and secured it. You have no control over his power because God gave it to him.
