APC Nomination Forms: Youth Leader Lauds Gov Bello Over 50% Discount For Aspirants Below 40yrs

Hon. Sadiq Fakai, a youth leader, has praised the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate and Governor of Kogi State, Mr. Yahaya Bello, for influencing the cost of the party’ s nomination forms for young aspirants aged 40 and under.

Fake, who works for Governor Yahaya Bello’ s Presidential Office as the Director of Youth Mobilization, praised the governor for his contribution during the party’ s National Executive Council, or NEC, meeting, where the decision was made.

Following the party’ s NEC meeting on Wednesday, Fakai told the media that Governor Bello’ s tireless efforts to encourage youth involvement in elective offices resulted in a 40 percent reduction in the cost of the party’ s nomination forms for aspirants under the age of 40.

While noting that Governor Yahaya Bello ” allows young people to benefit from the discount, ” Hon. Fake urged young people across the country to support the governor in his bid to become the country’ s next president.

” During the recently finished National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, he (Bello) persuaded members of the national working committee

to get the reduction on behalf of his fellow youth, ” Fake said.

Fakai insisted that the youths should thank the governor for sticking up for them, claiming that Bello is the only person who knows the emotions and hardships that Nigerian youths face.

While also claiming that only the governor of Kogi State can steer the country in the correct path, Fakai promised that if given the chance to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari, the governor would emulate the state’ s youth- inclusive administration model.

” Let me urge Nigerian youths to join forces with my office as I visit the 36 states of the country and Abuja, lobbying party stakeholders and delegates to ensure that a young person, in the person of Governor Bello, will fly the APC presidential ticket in 2023, ” he added.

President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila, and other APC stakeholders attended the party’ s NEC meeting at the Transcorp Hotel in Abuja.

The North- West zone of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has proclaimed support for Governor Yahaya Bello’ s (GYB) presidential bid in 2023.

The announcement was made at a stakeholders’ conference organized by the NYCN, Kogi chapter, in Kaduna for the North- West states.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the Kogi NYCN chapter, led by Amb. Ogohi Usman, embarked on a tour across the state’ s 21 local government areas in 2021, and then extended the tour interstate across the North Central states to rally support for Bello’ s presumptive presidential ambition. Mr.

Bagudu Nathaniel, Chairman of the Kaduna NYCN Chapter, the host state, expressed joy in receiving the NYCN delegates from Kogi, noting that the chapter had done well under Bello’ s administration.

According to him, the desire to support Bello’ s GYB2PYB presidential campaign in 2023 is simply a result of Bello’ s capacity and the transformation projects that have taken place in Kogi.

He went on to say that when Bello became President Yahaya Bello (PYB), the whole transformation he brought to Kogi would be mirrored in Nigeria, particularly on security. Mr.

Awwalu Mohammed, the State Chairman of the Kano NYCN, and Mr. Aliyu Yahaya, the Chairman of the Jigawa NYCN, complimented Bello’ s credible achievements in Kogi and the daring move he took to lead the presidential race for all Nigerian youths in their respective views.

They said Bello’ s accomplishments already spoke for themselves, and that the NYCN’ s network chain, which spans 36 states and includes the FCT, will be put to good use.

As a result, they assured the governor that all Nigerian youths in the northwest, as well as the northern states in general, would rally behind him.

Usman, the Chairman of the Kogi NYCN, had earlier urged Nigerian youths to unite in 2023 to seize power, adding, ” Power, as we all know, is not given but taken without violence. “

According to him, the NYCN Kogi chapter has continued its fight for GYB2PYB liberation following the official declaration of GYB to honour the call of Nigerian youths to run for president in 2023.

Bringing out and supporting a candidate, he claims, is merely the beginning of the election process.

As a result, we must be aware that our voices must be heard through Yahaya Adoza Bello’ s candidacy, who has finally heeded the appeal of Nigerian youths.
