'Nigerians Will Be Willing To Bring Back Buhari If He Hasn't Gone Too Far' -Jackson Lekan-Ojo

According to Sun paper, Jackson Lekan Ojo, a prominent member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and a respected security expert, expressed concern about the unprecedented rise of the Dollar. He also noted that speculations about a potential fuel price hike were causing distress among Nigerians. He mentioned, “There’s talk that Nigerians might even consider bringing back Buhari if the situation doesn’t improve.”

According to Ojo, he personally sees little to no significant accomplishments from the government. He observes widespread hardship across the country, which is not in line with Nigerians’ expectations. He believes there should have been visible progress toward the pre-election promises by now.

Nigerians are currently experiencing suffering without noticeable improvements in any aspect of national life, including the economy and security. In fact, insecurity is on the rise, and the value of the dollar has reached an unprecedented level. There are even rumors of another fuel price increase. He mentioned that some Nigerians might contemplate bringing back Buhari if the situation continues to deteriorate.

He continued, “From my perspective, I struggle to identify any notable accomplishments by this government. Instead, we’re witnessing pervasive difficulties and hardships across the nation. This is far from what Nigerians had anticipated or hoped for. At this juncture, we should have witnessed some indications of progress aligned with the promises made prior to the election. The Nigerian populace is indeed enduring significant challenges, as there’s been no tangible advancement in any aspect of our nation’s well-being, whether economically or in terms of security. On the contrary, instances of insecurity are escalating day by day.”
