Shehu Sani reacts as finance minister says FG ended borrowing from both local and Int'l sources

Past senator Shehu Sani, who represents Kaduna Central, responded to the Finance Minister’s claim that the Federal Government has stopped borrowing on his official X account, formerly known as Twitter. The Federal Government has reportedly stated that, as a result of eliminating gasoline subsidies and harmonizing exchange rates, it has no intention of borrowing from any domestic or foreign organization.

Based on the record, Chief Wale Edun, who also serves as the Coordinating Minister of the Economy, revealed this information at the first Federal Executive Council meeting that was held on Monday in Abuja. Shehu Sani, a vocal supporter, voiced his opinion in response to the development on Twitter, his blogging system.

The Finance Minister’s announcement that the FG has stopped borrowing from both domestic and foreign options is relieving. The current challenge is figuring out how to escape the loan that the Buhari regime has left behind.

After learning that the government had stopped borrowing from both domestic and foreign sources, the former legislator expressed his pleasure. Shehu Sani concluded his remarks, however, by saying that the present challenge is figuring out how to get out of the Buhari administration’s financial obligations.
