2023: Nigeria Won’t Get It Wrong With Atiku, Tinubu, Obi, Others – Metuh
A former spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisah Metuh, has said Nigeria cannot get it wrong with the current presidential candidates.
Speaking on Channels Television on Friday night, Metuh said the nation has not had the caliber of presidential candidates contesting for the 2023 presidency in its history.
Metuh, who resigned his membership from the PDP on Thursday, said the country is assured of quality leadership in 2023 with the crop of presidential flagbearers.>>>>>CONTINUE READING HERE>>>>>
He said the likes of Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), and Rabiu Musa Kwankwao of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) are capable of leading the nation.
The former PDP chieftain also said the manifestos of candidates he has seen show that whoever wins the forthcoming presidential poll will do well for the nation.
He said: “Never in history have we had the caliber of people that we have. We have lots of candidates; about six to seven of them are very good.
“This is good for our democracy and if we look into their affairs, what they are preaching and their manifesto, any of them that wins the election and forms a national government, we believe they will do well for the country.
“The time for division [and] the time for differences have gone. This is the time to build; it’s the time for peace.
“We won’t get it wrong. We have Kwankwaso, Sowore, Tinubu, Peter Obi. We won’t get it wrong.”
