According to Vanguard, the Fierce Niger Delta militant group The Force of Egbesu has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on taking office as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the country’s 2023 general election.
Egbesu forces hailed Tinubu for a well-deserved victory in a statement released yesterday through their leader, General Gbolodi, noting that Niger Delta residents and Nigerians, in general, expected better performance from his government.
Among other things, the statement said: The Force of Egbesu, hereby congratulate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory in the 2023 general elections in the country.
that he can lead Nigeria out of the current economic crisis into a resilient economy.
It is on record that Egbesu’s armed forces will under no circumstances tolerate malice and oppression as we are engaged in agitation for a better Niger Delta.
However, we stand ready to support the government led by President Tinubu in delivering the much-needed dividends of democracy to Nigerians because he has shown his willingness to work for the betterment of citizens.
We also urge Nigerians to provide the necessary support and enabling environment for Mr.President to fulfill his campaign promises and promises he made to Nigerians before, during, and after the general election.
