I Will Work With You For The Country To Move Forward – Patience Jonathan Tells Oluremi Tinubu

After meeting the new First Lady, Remi Tinubu, in Abuja today, Dame Patience Jonathan, the previous First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, responded.

The outspoken Dame Patience Jonathan is the spouse of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, a former president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

On May 29, 2023, Remi Tinubu, a former federal politician who represented Lagos Central in the national assembly’s red chamber, succeeded Aisha Buhari as first lady of the federal republic of Nigeria.

“You are one of the women I looked forward to, because you can make Nigerian women proud. I am here to encourage and support you because we are one country and our country must move forward,” Patience Jonathan reportedly remarked during the visit, according to TVC .

“Twenty four hours, I am with you. Call me anytime, any day. I will work with you to help the country advance and improve because it is our country and we have nowhere else to go,” she said.

“I use this opportunity to plead with the women of this country to support this government; she carried us along when she was a governor’s wife, and now that she is a first lady, the sky is her limit,” she said.
