A major player in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dele Momodu, has stated unequivocally that he does not regret his membership in the PDP. This reassurance was given in response to a Twitter user’s comment that seemed to imply Momodu was feeling remorse for a political decision he had made.
Dele Momodu answered confidently to a Twitter user who had said the PDP was in a difficult position. He said he didn’t regret anything and that in such a poor and struggling country as Nigeria, good people with a willingness to make sacrifices were desperately needed.
Someone on Twitter purportedly said, “PDP is completely dead. Dele, you made a political error, and you’re deeply sorry about it.
Momodu has remained steadfast in his political position and in his optimism for the future of Nigeria. He also hinted that arguing and criticising each other online might not be as effective as working together to better the country. Dele Momodu insists he has no remorse over his decision to back the PDP and calls for solidarity and selflessness in the face of Nigeria’s many problems.
