✓ featuring Kai Havertz and Mason Mount despite their poor form:

Kai Havertz and Mason Mount are in their worst form this season as their performance is nothing to write home about.

Thomas Tuchel keep using these two players in all matches this season despite their shambolic display which contributed to Chelsea’s defeats in some matches and Thomas Tuchel’s sack as the head coach.

✓ Using the same tactics in all matches:

Thomas Tuchel is known for his defensive nature as he uses the 3-5-2 formations in almost all his matches. Kudos to him, this tactic won the UCL and other titles for him but leaked when other managers understood it.

But Tuchel keeps using the formation/tactics despite it going against him. This also contributed to his sack as Chelsea’s manager.

Tuchel also uses players in different positions, a clear example is using Cesar Azpilicueta and Reece James as center backs instead of their natural right-wing positions.

These mistakes I believe contributed to his dismissal, any new Chelsea head coach should also avoid these mistakes to perform better.
